Isle of Legends by Aoife Skye is the perfect book for guild loving readers. Reia Telraiven and her brother Darryl own an inn (The Drunked Pumpkin) in their small village, Fellborne. Their land is ruled by guilds, strong groups of six people. Each guild rules some land and has a specific number of Legendary Acts to complete. The stronger the guild, the more Acts. The more Acts, the more honor. Every year, all the guilds meet on an island, named Isle of Legends for a Guilder's Convene. When a group of five saves Reia from a horde of monster Dark Devourer, she offers them a place to stay at her inn. The next morning, another group of five walks in. The two groups seem suspiciously like rivals, and possibly two competitive guilds. What will happen when Reia is offered a place on both sides?
This story has the perfect amount of suspense, and the cliffhangers make it much more enjoyable. The plot moves well, and the author does a good job of explaining the guilds properly and more in-depth.
