Tommy is a phoenix. The immortal winged were known as fearless warriors in ancient civilizations. He has lived in captivity for eight years since he was stolen from his bed by the Fallen at eight. Tommy used to be the light of the Antarctic Empire, the youngest son of King Philza. His brothers, Techno and Wilbur, failed to find him. Now, Tommy is just forgotten. They even made a grave for him. Tommy hasn't seen the sun, grass, the blue sky since he was eight, and the memories from when he was free are spotty. He hasn't seen another winged, unless you count the Fallen as winged people, since he was captured. His former orange and red feathers are turning black.

There's a new person in the prison of a cave Tommy resides in. Another winged. Another phoenix in captivity. The new phoenix is smaller than Tommy. Has more vibrant feathers. They bond, though. The new phoenix is named Tubbo.

A Fallen forgets to put magic blockers on Tubbo. ...And they blast the horrid prison apart. However, there are more Fallen. More ash-winged people. Thousands of them. They want revenge.

This book contains the perfect amount of humor and dynamic. Each character is well developed and the text is well detailed - even though there are only 3 chapters. Warning: Contains mild swearing, mentions of death (not permanent), and being experimented on.
