The Fairy Tale Detectives

Sabrina and Daphne are orphans, and are being cared for by their caseworker, Mrs. Smirt. She treats the girls very badly. They are heading to Ferryport Landing, as someone there claims to be their grandma. At the small town, the grandmother tells the sisters that they are descendants of the Brothers Grimm, and that the fairytales they wrote were not fiction, they happened in real life! Sabrina is skeptical of this first, but eventually gives in. Suddenly, they find themselves caught in a mystery involving a giant, a house, and an old man. But as they investigate, Grandma Grimm and her friend, Mr. Canis are carried away by a giant. The sisters find friends and help, but the true criminal may be the in their midst...
