Summer Reading Spotlight: The Waterfire Saga

Sorry everyone! I lost track of time. I am sorry this is a bit late. Well, without further ado, here is my first summer book blog!

The Waterfire Saga is a series of four books that begins with Deep Blue. In Deep Blue, a merl named Sera and her friend Neela escape a burning castle full of enemies and travel to a far away river, their task to find several other merls chosen by a group of river witches, the Iele. Along the way, they are captured alive, rescued by though-to-be bandits, and encounter interesting mermaids. By the way, this is ALL because of a dream! But when they reach their destination, they find a surprising merl...

Through the next books, we follow Sera and her friends through treachery, trickery, and unlikely alliances. I highly recommend this book for people who love fantasy and magical worlds. And, if you ever get confused, you can always check out the Waterfire Saga Fandom wiki!
