Hello all! Today I shall be showing you the series: Anne of Green Gables. It starts with a small girl named Anne Shirley in the book Anne of Green Gables. She is a orphan, and is mixed up with a boy at the orphanage and sent to Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert. Despite originally wanting a boy to help out with Matthew, the Cuthberts decide to keep her. Anne is very smart, but loves to daydream and use her imagination to animate simple objects. She is also very good at household chores, but often daydreams during important tasks. She is also prone to accidents, we will learn later on. As Anne goes to school, she gets along very well with the girls in her class and find her bosom friend in a pretty girl named Diana Barry. The Barries are richer than most people in Avonlea, and they have a big house and garden. But when the well liked, flirty Gilbert Blythe arrives at school and provokes her, Anne's temper snaps. Despite Gilbert's attempts to apologize, Anne is stubborn. This book goes through Anne's childhood, and the various mistakes Anne has made, such as putting liniment in cake. Near the end, Anne gets into a Queen's class, to study for the exam for the prestigious school. But will she pass "The Exam"?
